Enabling positive changes: Awareness and activism within and beyond the University

In February 2025, LSHH marked LGBT+ History month with a roundtable event discussing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). We were joined by three University of Lincoln alumni, who shared how EDI knowledge & activism has impacted their lives after university. All three alumni are previous members of the award-winning Student Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee (SEDIC) in the School of Humanities and Heritage. Their involvement in EDI work has allowed them to continue onto postgraduate study in different areas, begin their graduate careers, and speak on the TEDx stage.
